Our Team
Since July 2021, the 'Space and Time' Project has been carrying out its activities with its focus on the Paleoenvironmental Archeology of the Peniche region
It is a PhD project by archaeologist Luís Rendeiro, approved by FCT (Foundation for Science and Technology) and integrated in the Archaeology Center of the University of Lisbon (UNIARQ) of the Faculty of Arts of the University of Lisbon and the Center for Geographical Studies of the Institute for Geography and Spatial Planning (CEG-IGOT).
The investigations to be carried out in this project are also an opportunity to offer practical, contextualized and current training to Archaeology students, thus developing a partnership with the Faculty of Letters of the University of Lisbon (FLUL)
in the ambit of the licentiate and master’s degrees in Archaeology of that institution in the carrying out of field and laboratory research campaigns.
